Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Saleslid is a WhatsApp CRM operated as a hosted service (SaaS): your business creates an account at app.saleslid.com and we host and run the platform for you — you don't install anything on your own server. This policy explains what data we process, why, and who we share it with in order to provide the service.

2. What data we collect

Account data

Name, email address, password (never stored in plain text), your business name, and your role within the account. If you sign in with Google, also your Google name, email, and profile picture.

Your own contacts'/customers' data

When you use Saleslid to serve your customers over WhatsApp or Instagram, we process on your behalf their phone numbers, names, conversation content (text, voice notes, images, documents), and the information you enter about them (tags, notes, sales deals). For this data we act as a data processor: you, as the business, decide what happens with it.

Google Calendar

If you connect Google Calendar from Settings → Integrations, we access — with your explicit authorization on Google's consent screen — your upcoming calendar events, and we may create or update events when an appointment is scheduled, either manually or by the AI agent. Saleslid's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: we only use this data for the features you enabled, never for advertising, and no human on our team reads it except to provide support you requested or as required by law. You can disconnect it anytime from Settings or by revoking access at your Google account.

AI-powered automatic replies

If you enable this feature, conversation content (and, where applicable, a summary of your calendar) is sent to an AI provider to generate a reply: by default, the one Saleslid contracts for the AI included in your plan (OpenAI, Anthropic, or models such as Google Gemini through OpenRouter); or, if you chose so, the provider you connected with your own API key. That provider processes this data under its own privacy policy, only to generate the reply.

3. How we use your data

To provide the service (shared inbox, pipelines, calendar, automations, AI replies), authenticate and secure your account, provide support when requested, maintain and improve the platform, and comply with legal obligations. We never sell your data or your contacts' data.

4. Who we share data with

Supabase (database and authentication), Meta / WhatsApp Business Platform, Zernio and/or Dualhook (sending/receiving messages), Google (only if you connect Calendar or sign in with Google), and your chosen AI provider (only if you enable automatic replies). None of them may use your data for their own purposes beyond providing the contracted service.

5. Security

Sensitive credentials (WhatsApp tokens, Google tokens) are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Access within your account is role-based, and every connection between your browser and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). No system is 100% secure; if we detect an incident affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.

6. How long we keep your data

While your account is active. If you cancel it, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

7. Your rights

Under Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, object to certain uses, or withdraw your consent at any time (e.g., by disconnecting Google Calendar). Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights.

8. If you're a customer of a business using Saleslid

If you messaged a business that uses Saleslid over WhatsApp and want to know what information they hold about you, correct it, or delete it, that request goes to that business first — they decide what happens with their contacts, even though we host the data on their behalf.

9. Children

Saleslid is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 years of age.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes significantly, we update the date at the top of this page and, where applicable, notify you by email or within the application.
